About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will travel from Philippines to Shanghai via plane to catch a cruise ship in Shanghai.

Do I need to apply for a visa, or do I qualify for the 144 hour free stay. I'm taking the Princess cruise

Lotie, if you will go to a third country or region by cruise ship, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. No visa will be needed then.
