DOH - PEK - ? - DOH

Hello!
I understand that we need a confirmed ticket in order to use the 72 hour transit visa.
Let's say:
BKK - PEK - (stay 2 nights) - HKG - DOH

What if I miss my PEK - HKG flight? Can I fly PEK - DOH instead?

JK, if you hold Malaysia passport, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit because of your nationality.
