About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I just received my invitation/approval letter for employment and now I need to apply for my Z type.

Do I need my flight reservation to apply for the work Z type? How long will it take to get the visa? Thank you.

Cheri, the flight reservation is not required for the application of work Z type. Usually, it takes four working days to get the result.
