Can I enter Macau from Hong Kong?

I am a Chinese Citizen and a US permanent resident (Green Card Holder). I would like to visit Macau in my upcoming trip to China. If I visit Macau from Hong Kong prior to entering China, do I need to apply for a special permit? I know I can enter Hong Kong with the Chinese Passport and the Green Card, without a special permit.

Sandy, no, you don’t need to apply for a special permit. You can stay Macau without a special permit for not more than 7 days.
