About:China Visa

I am working in China with Z visa. I wish to invite my wife to stay with me.

Please let me know type, requirement and documents required to apply this.

Ashish, your wife can apply for an S type to stay with you in China. First, prepare the passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, an invitation letter from you, copies of your passport and Chinese residence permit, and your marriage certificate and the copy.
Next, submit the application to CVASC.

Marriage certificate should be verified by China embassy in India?
For S1 type I came to know that she needs medical certificate, should it be done at home country (India) or in China?

Yes, it should be attested by China embassy in India.
As far as I know, medical certificate is needed when you apply for temporary residence permit after entering China, so it should be done in China.
