About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hi --We just got back our Chinese multiple entry visa from the Washington DC Visa office.

Our agent pointed out to them that my last name was misspelled. The China Visa office said, in effect, that it did not matter. Birthday and passport numbers are correct. Should we be concerned about this? Do we have any recourse?

Kirk, if the consular officers said so, then it won’t affect your trip. Don’t worry!
