Should I stay at Mt Huangshan or on the mountain?

First, if you want to buy some souvenirs or taste some local food, this ancient street will definitely be a good place. However, you just have 2 days there, which may be quite tight to cover both Huangshan Mountain and the street. In this case, you are advised to visit the mountain only and stay on the mountain which is convenient for you to enjoy the scenery of Huangshan Mountain. If you do want to visit the ancient street, you may finish visiting the mountain on the second morning or noon and head for the downtown area to the street.l
