About:China Family Reunion Visa

I will be going on holiday to China.

And doing sightseeing as well as see family (relationship= uncles & aunties) before heading to another country on our trip.
Time will be split approximately 50/50, is a "L" tourist visa or "q2" visa more appropriate?
