Do you need to book tickets for the 9.30am ferry to Guangzhou from HKIA?

And where do you pass through immigration?

Sandra, you don't need to book the tickets online in advance. Just buy the tickets when you arriving at HKIA.
As I know, the ticket office opens from 07:30 to 21:30. Address of the office: Counter E2, the fifth floor of the building of passengers transport.
Upon landing, you can find many detailed English signs at the airport that can help you find the direction.
