About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I have a ticket from Holland to Qingdao with KLM and traveling with only handlugage.

This flight has a stopover for 3 hours in Hangzhou.
From Qingdao I have a flight to Korea. Can I use the 72 hours free in Qingdao?

Ton, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit in Qingdao because you will transit in Hangzhou. But if you travel like Holland-Qingdao and Hangzhou(24 hours)-Korea, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in China, no visa is required then.
