About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Student and Tourist visa

i currently have a student X type which expires July 1. i also have a 10-year tourist L type that doesn't expire until 2026 which appears that it is still valid. My family is coming to visit me on July 1. Can i still use the tourist L type after my student X type expires?

Donna, I’m confused. Usually, one can only hold one Chinese visa at one time, so I’m afraid your tourist L type cannot be used if you currently have a student X type. You can go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to confirm that.
