About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

we are really confused about visa can any one give advise please!!!!

before we contacted the airport they told me i dont need visa. I got one ticket which is from auckland to Guanzghou 2.5 hours layover then we fly to urumchi there our layover 7.5hours ,from urumchi to Bishkek .
Return:Bishkek to urumchi 5.45Hours layover then Guangzhou 13.5hours layover and fly home Auckland!!!
do we need a visa at any of those stops ?we not going to leave an airport and we got NZ passport
please help with right answer

You do because of your layover in Urumqi.

but i gave them call they said no need ,who to trust plkease .
they said you have tickets and only they ask its what days
we arrive to guanzhou 12/7 then to urumchi same day and leave urumchi 13/7 we arrive urumchi 13/7 12.35 morning and leave 8am ?the urumchi says no visa

The problem is not immigration in a particular airport, it's the airline that will deny you from boarding.
