Will a scanned copy of a passport suffice if I do not have my gf's physical passport with me?

What about a picture of her passport on my cellphone?

If you want to collect the online booked ticket at the station, you need to hold the original passport. Copy or picture cannot work. If you want to buy a ticket directly, you may have a try with your original passport and your gf's passport copy. This works sometimes.
