About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying on Air China Flt 992 form Vancouver and connecting Flight 945 from Beijing to Karachi

there is a layover of 24 hours . Please let me know who will provide hotel and do we need to get visa or it will be approved on arrival . We do not have passport of 51 countries exempted .

We will arrive at 3:30 PM and next day our flight is at 3.30 , please guide us can we take city tour or see the city. Any Tour operator offers services as airport or in hotel .

We are 5 passengers , 3 kids and 2 adults.

You'll need a transit visa if your layover is over 24 hours (even by one minute). Hotel rooms will be typically be provided by Air China but you have to contact them in advance.

I need clarification , I am not staying by my choice it Air China who is delaying the passenger by 24 hours layover . Should Air Line not arrange every thing themselves .

Your time spent in China is calculated from your scheduled arrival time to your flight's scheduled departure time. It should not be more than 24 hours, or you'll be denied boarding.
