About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Residence permit expires in 10 days.

I have a work visa and a residence permit. I found a new job, and my company has started the process for the brand new visa, in which I will get the new permit there. Is it a wise choice, knowing that my residence permit expires on the 30th, to go back to china to work? Or should I let the company send me the paper work to obtain a new visa before I go?

So, even though, my residence permit expires on the 30th, and my company has already completed in the process for my new visa, I still have to get it here before I go? How sure are you? they are saying that I should be fine, and my flight is today.

you must make sure that your new work permit will be ready before your current residence permit expires. If your current residence permit expires and your new work permit is not ready, you will have overstayed your allowed time and are subject to fines and deportation.
