on behalf of my omani friend, what type of visa to be applied to go for purchasing

this request is on behalf of my Omani friend who wants to go to China, Guangzhou for purchasing/searching building materials for his new home. he wants to know type,  charges, type of visa for his dependents (including child below 2 years old), photo size/background color, how many days will be required to process the visa and what else will be required.

He can apply for a tourist L visa for China to buy that. His family can also apply for a tourist L visa to accompany him. The required documents include passport and copy of its data page, a fully filled-out application form, a recently-taken passport-style photo, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. After submitting the application, it takes 4 working days to get the result.
