About:Embassy & Consulates of Mongolia in China

Hi, does anyone know if the consulate for visa application in Shanghai is still open?

I went to the Shanghai embassy today and the place is very run down. They don't issue visas there and the guard said that you can only obtain them from Beijing within China. I hope that this is helpful.
