Question

Do you think i can do ONE DAY trip by ourselves from the city to Yabuli Ski Resort, and back to downtown on the same day? Thanks for your advise.

Yes, it is possible. As I know, you can take a train to YBL South Railway Station which may take around 2.5 hours in the early morning. Upon arrival, there are many cars heading to the ski resort directly. Then you may return by the train which may leave at 16:17 in the afternoon.
