changing school while having resident permit(x type visa)

Hello,im now finishing my year of studying chinese language in china provided by the chinese government.Im here on a one year student X type,however i got admission in doctorate degree degree in another school in China.Can i renew my student X type without leaving China while having already resident permit of old school?
