changing school while having resident permit(x type visa)

Hello,im now finishing my year of studying chinese language in china provided by the chinese government.Im here on a one year student X type,however i got admission in doctorate degree degree in another school in China.Can i renew my student X type without leaving China while having already resident permit of old school?thanks

Yes, it is possible for you to do that within China. You can go to the exit and entry administration of the lcaol PSB to ask for the detailed information.
