About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit via HK Airport to Shanghai

I plan to travel to Shanghai for 3 days, initially transiting at Hong Kong airport to my onward flight to Shanghai - I will not be entering into HK, merely transiting at the airport.

I then plan to fly to Hong Kong out of Shanghai and enter HK for 3 days.
Am I eligible for the 72/144 hour via exemption?
