About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Single entry F visa arrive Beijing, next day to Bangkok, one week later return to Beijing for 3 week

Arriving at Beijing, planning to stay one night for a rest, then leaving Beijing for Bangkok the next day. Will stay in Bangkok for one week then return to Beijing for 3 weeks working with a single entry F type. Is this permissible?

This is permissible, but as you just hold a single-entry F type, when you enter Beijing for the first time, you should tell the consular officers at the immigration inspection counter that you want to use the free transit this time. In this case, you can save the F type for your 3-week stay in Beijing when returning.
