Renewal of Chinese PPT in Melbourne, Australia

Chinese passport renewal In Melbourne Australia, I am an Australian resident. Do I need an appointment at the consulate? What documents do I need to take? Where can I download them and are they available in English ? I have to travel from Tasmania so I must be sure I have the correct documentation. Thank you.

You need to make an appointment. You can find the link at the official website of Chinese consulate. Both English and Chinese are available at that website.
You need to provide residence permit in Australia, your passport and copy of its data page, the fully completed application form, and 2 recently-taken passport-style photos.
