Uusally the ticket price for rail service fixed, except some overnight high speed D rides. The second class seat on a day time high speed ride should be RMB793 per person. If you take a slow type, it can be cheaper, around RMB377 for a hard sleeper bed. For flight ticket, however, the price changes from time to time. If there is a good discount offered, it may be cheaper than second class seat on high speed ride.1

Normally how many hours does a fast ride take from Guangzhou to Shangai and the same with a slow one.0

The bullet ride would take around 7.5 to 8.5 hours. A low type would take around 16.5 to 22 hours, depends on the ride you choose.0
