L Visa Application: Relationship to inviter. Is it ok to just put friend?

My parents are applying for their Chinese visas to travel with me this fall and visit my girlfriend. Is it ok to just put "Friend" as relationship to inviter? or do they need to be more specific and say "Son's Girlfriend"?

I feel like saying the latter might be flag raising and/or unnecessary.

Thanks for the help!

It is ok. It doesn’t have to be more specific if it is not required.
