About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa (72 Hours)

I am an Australian Passport holder that lives in Hong Kong and has HK ID, I want to visit Beijing for the weekend to visit Forbidden City and will be in Beijing for less than 48 hours (Friday night to Sunday night). I will be travelling HK to Beijing to HK. Can I user 72 hour transit visa for this purpose?

Hi, Jamie, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit in Beijing because HK-Beijing-HK is not a transit at all.
