About:Year of the Snake

My spiritual guru told me that I would find my soul mate in the first half of this year

Could anyone help me? However it's already May and nothing has come to fruition. My birthday is 12.10.94. I'm starting to doubt the legitimacy of these zodiac foretellings, should I still have hope?

There were people who looked at the sky and they didn’t see any stars. The sky was cloudy when they looked. You didn’t mention your hour and minute when you were born, so we can’t see your Houses. The fact that you started to doubt Astrology is a good thing, because being inquisitive will help you in life. Astrology existed, exists and will always be there, despite the fact of what you may think. Someone walks through the countryside and sees open fields. Some other person walks through the countryside and sees the potential for making money. It all depends on interpretation.
The half-year predicted had come, but it didn’t pass. After the 1st of July 2017 you could say it was a failed prophesy. Good luck.

Thanks for your supportive message, I was born 12.10.94 at 3:07 pm.
How will the houses impact me? I've never really heard much about them.

The prediction made was based on transiting Uranus (that brings sudden changes), which trines your natal 7th House. You had your Ascendant 0°33' in Pisces, and your 7 House of Marriage and Partnerships starts at 0°33' in Virgo. As transiting Sun will arrive to your 7th House on the 23rd of August 2017, it will transit through your 7th House for exactly two months. The way I see it, this will be the time when you will meet your good man. Your had an afflicted natal Sun was in your 7th House, so you must learn to cooperate with your partner, because there is the risk of either him dominating you, or you dominating him. In any case, your partner will be a very good man.
