Which metro line should I take to get to Shanghai and do you have 1-day pass for tourist?

My friend and I will be travelling to the city next week for sighseeing. I wonder which metro line, from the airport, should we take to go to city. We will be arriving at 7 am with big baggage. Does metro has 1 day pass for tourist and how much? Does PVG shops and restaurants open 24 hrs? What is must see attractions in the city for 1 day trip?

1. Will you land at Pudong Airport? If yes, you can take the Maglev train or subway line 2 to downtown area. The transportation is quite convenient. For this situation, you are suggested to purchase Maglev + Metro Pass. It costs CNY 55 and allows passengers to take a single maglev trip (economy class) and unlimited subway rides within 24 hours after the first use. The Maglev Round Trip + Metro One-day Pass costs CNY 85 and allows passengers to take a maglev round-trip (economy class) and unlimited subway rides within 24 hours after the first use. The pass is available at both the maglev stations of Pudong International Airport and Longyang Road.
2. Several fast food restaurants and coffee shops will open for 24 hours.
3. In your limited time, you can join in a local sightseeing bus tour. Taking sightseeing bus to explore the beauty of the city undoubtedly is a good idea. In this way, you can squeeze limited time to tour around more must-sees during your one day trip.
