About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
72-hours visa HK-Shanghai-HK

Hi there,

I would like to use the 72-hours free transit for a long weekend trip.
I will fly from HK to Shanghai and return Shanghai to HK.
Is this possible as it is not really a transit?

Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Nicole

It's not a transit at all. So you can't have free transit. You need a visa in advance.

HI, fly from HK to SH and than from SH to Macau. That works out!
