American husband working in China and wants to get family to live with him.

Hi I am from Philippines and my husband is American who is working in China. We are planning to be together in the same place, since husband's job is there we decided to move to China. What should we do? Is it possible that me and our kids can live together with my husband in China until he decided to move to other Country? Thank you for the info?

Hi, it's possible for you and your kids to live in China with your husband. You can apply for a Chinese S1 type for that.
First, prepare the passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form, and a passport-style photo taken recently, an invitation letter, the copies of your husband's passport and Chinese residence permit, your marriage certificate and your kids' birth certificate.
Next, submit the application to the embassy of China.
