About:China Transit Visa

Hi I am an Indian national with US greencard and have a 12-hour layover in Guangzhou.

My wife has a US passport. Can both of us go outside into Guangzhou for a few hours during the layover? Or do we need to stay in the airport itself?

Hi, both of you can leave Guangzhou during the layover because you will be granted a temporary stay permit at the airport if you meet all requirements.
