How do I get a visa for my minor son if his father is incarcerated?

Hi, if your minor son go to China for sightseeing purpose, provide a filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, the passport and its photocopy, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Besides, the father's passport and the consent letter are necessary for that.
Next, submit the application to the China embassy or the consulate where you lawfully resides.0

Father in jail with no option to get a consent letter. I cannot get a letter that is notarized by the father, he is in prison!!!
The child is a minor.0

May I know you two share the custody together or you have the full custody? If you two share it together, a consent letter from your husband is necessary, but if you have the full custody, you don’t need to provide the consent letter.0
