About:China Visa on Arrival

Can thai people do voa at luo hu immigration?

We have plan to go 1 night at luo hu with my 75 years old mother .
Her passport have only year of birth, no day and month of birth .
How or what do I need to prepare to pass the visa? We are going on 23th may 2017
Which is a week later,
hope to get your advice soon.
Do we need to prepare photo, what size or voa have taking photo service.
How much cost for it and photo?
How about he shekou port, can we do application there if we came from macau, photo service there?
And how long does it take to do a visa, so we can prepare our journey...

Dear, it is possible for Thailand passport holders to get VOA there.
I cannot tell you for sure if your mother’s passport can be used to apply for VOA at Luo Hu port. You’d better call the embassy of China to confirm if her passport is acceptable.
You just need to provide valid passport and transportation arrangement.
The photo is not needed.
Usually, a VOA costs CNY168 per person.
The case is the same at Shekou port.
Usually, it takes 15 minutes or so to get the result.
