About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying from Bangkok to Chengdo and back to Bangkok for a wedding, within 72 hours, does this work?

Hi, want to go to a wedding in Chengdu, will fly from Bangkok, arrive Friday arround 3pm and leave Sunday 3pm back to Bangkok.

Does this work with the 72 hours visa-free transit?

Ralf, no, it won’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Chengdu because this route is not a transit at all.
