Flight from Amsterdam-Philippines with stopover at Shanghai Pudong Airport

I have a 19-hour layover at Shanghai Pudong Airport and was offered by the airline free accommodation outside the airport. Do I still need to get a transit visa (Philippine passport holder)?

Thank you

Hi, Clifford, you don't need a transit G type because you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai.
