till Oct 17 departing on cruise ship to other country's and then docking in Hong Kong for 5 days. Do we need a visaThank YouHorace Wahl

Horace, if the last country you come from  before entering Shanghai is not HK, no visa will be needed then because you are eligible for the 144 hour free transit.
