My plan is to travel the friday morning from Taiwan to Guangzhou China. spend the night in guangzhou. then head to my meeting saturday morning in hong kong, and then return back to taiwan in the evening.do i require a visa to stay in guangzhou over night? and is it alright if i fly back to taiwan, considering im flying to Hong Kong first?

Ryan, you don't need to apply for a transit G type for that because you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou.
