About:Datong Attractions

I am living in Tangshan and trying to find a train trip to get to Datong.

But C-Trip says there is nothing available from either Tangshan, nor Beijing...

Can you advise how I can get to DT from Tangshan in an economical manner, ie public transport?

There is only one train from Tangshan Railway Station to DT departing at 20:06. It will take around 10.5 hours. You are advised to buy a berth ticket. The hard berth will cost CNY141/person and the soft one will charge CNY222/person.
