I am Cuban and leaving from Havana to Peking china

and have a connecting flight to Manila Philippines. My layover is less than 24 hours and I do not plan on leaving the airport. I just want to connect to Philippines only. Am I ok? Do i need a transit visa still just to connect since I am a Cuban?

Leila, you are ok. You don’t need a transit G type for that because you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing.
