Can one bring a couple of jars of honey into China?

My daughter will be living with a family in Beijing and we'd like to give her some fresh honey from our hives to take as a gift for them. Is that allowed?

As I know, honey need to accept Quarantine & Inspection. Besides, there is no specific regulation about the amount. However, you'd better not take too much. This kind of item needs a quarantine check. Good luck!
