About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

if I fly in may 5th at 9pm and leave may 9th at 9am, does this excede the 72 hour pass.

Will I have to cancel my flight or get a visa?

If you travel like USA-Shanghai-Canada, you will be able to use the free transit; but if you will transit in Beijing, you need to apply for a visa.
