About:Chinese Embassy in Turkey

Hello, I am planning to join a summer school in China in fast of July

but could not understand yet how to apply for the study visa? Should I get an appoint first to apply or if I go to the Istanbul consulate office with all documents is it okay?

To apply for Schengen visa normally we have to go through an agency. What about China?

I live in Turkey for last some years.

You don't have to find an agency to help you with the application.
First, your school should provide you an admission letter for you.
Then, prepare the relevant documents including your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, your residence permit, admission letter and JW from the school.
After, submit the application to Istanbul consulate office to apply for student X type.

i think what you just said is difference from the realty in Istanbul consulate office in fact i dont advise any foreigner to apply student visa in Istanbul special those who have somali pasaport i dont know ankara but what i know even ankara says apply it from where you live.
