I'd to see the autumn colours of Beijing and the Great Wall. Which month is best and what would be the weather like? What are the top 3 Great Walls that you would recommend to visit?

Late September and October are the best months to see the autumn colours of the Great Wall. Also, the weather is quite pleasant and comfortable during the period. You are suggested to wear long-sleeved shirt or T-shirt plus a light jacket in September and early October. The thick jacket and woolen sweater are needed if you travel there at the end of the October.There are several sections of the Great Wall for your choice. Among them, Badaling is the best preserved and most visited one. It is a must for first time travelers. For those who can not walk too much, Mutianyu section is recommended as it is easier to climb with the gentle roads. The third most famous section, in my opinion, is the Juyongguan Great Wall. You may choose one to visit according to your own interest and condition.
