Hi, Yunnan is a very large province, which includes many cities. Flight, train and long-distant bus are the main transportations between thoes cities. Visiting these area, you are best to take a guided tour. Or do you mean only Kunming, the capital city? If so, public transporation is enough to visit Kunming city.
