About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

If I am in Peking for a few hours on a connecting flight to Phuket do i need a visa for china

If your travel route is South Africa–Beijing (within 24 hours)-Phuket, you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. No need to apply for a visa then.
