About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Golden week hours of operation

Hello,
I'm an American traveling in Japan from May 1 to May 12. I want to apply for a Chinese visa on May 1st. What are the hours of consular services at the embassy in Tokyo during Golden Week? Also, do I apply at the embassy or a service center in Tokyo?

Don, if possible, you’d better make the application in your home country because you just stay for a short time in Japan.
The office in Tokyo is closed on May 1 and May 3-5for traditional festivals. Usually, you should apply from the CVASC in Tokyo.
