About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I want to join a group that will travel through China for 6 weeks.

Is it possible to obtain a tourist visa with 6 week duration? If so, how?

It is possible. The consular officers will give you a proper duration based on the actual days you need. Just make full preparation when making the application.
