getting on and off the wall

Hello we are travelling to Xian next March and we are wondering do we pay one fee to go on the wall at the South gate then if we want to get off and wander around the museums do we then just get back on the wall where we got off or do we need to pay every time we get on and off the wall???

The Han Guang Gate Site Museum is connected with the city wall, so you can get on the wall after visiting the museum without paying again. However, if you want to visit the stone steles museum, you need to leave the city wall. Then buy the ticket again if you get on the wall again.
