About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

My name is Song Toan Le. I am holding my Vietnamese passport. I have Canadian study visa.

Hi,
I plan to book a flight ticket to go to Canada (Vancouver) from South Korea (Seoul) by Xiamenair.

I arrive the airport at 10:40pm May 3, and leave on 9:40pm (Xian airport)

Can I transfer through the airport for free?
Do I need to apply for 72-Hour Free Transit?
How much is it?
Can I get out of the airport?

Thanks you,
ST

Hi, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit.
If your total layover time in mainland China is within 24 hours, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit then.
If you want to leave the airport, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge at the immigration officer.
