Dear Travel China Guide, we would like to visit the Forbidden City on April 29th 2017.

How long before the opening do we have to arrive?

Thanks for your attention on TravelChinaGuide.com! The Forbidden City will open on April 29th, 2017. The opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:00, tickets sale ends at 16:00. Generally speaking, you are suggested to arrive at the Ticket Office at around 06:30 or 07:00.
