Where is the best place for wholesale shopping in Guangzhou?

And how to get there from Beijing Road?

Both Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street are the good choices. I’ll set the Beijing Road Metro Station as the start.
To Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street: You can take metro line 6 to Cultural Park Station, Exit D.
To Beijing Road Pedestrian Street: It is just located at the west of Golden Building, Beijing Road. You may take a taxi there at the cost of CNY10. Then walk about 750 meters northwards along the Zhen’an Road to the destination.

Kate's answer is great for retail but for wholesale, you need to decide which product you are looking for, as GZ is a huge city and there are many hundreds of enormous wholesale markets. My advice would be to go to amazon and buy a good guidebook to GZ's wholesale markets, preferably one that is complete with full addresses and directions.
